On April 3, 2025, during the first constitutive meeting of the Business Council of the “Strengthening the System of Vocational Education and Training in Bosnia and Herzegovina” project, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Chambers of Commerce and Craft Chambers in the Federation of BiH and Brčko District BiH.
Cooperation with the world of business and their representatives, such as employers associations and chambers will enable aligning education/TVET to the needs of Industry, quality assurance, evidence-based policy making, relevance, resilience as well as the development of new initiatives that will help young people acquire the skills necessary for employment in various industries.
This MoU symbolizes a unified approach to education and the economy, and its implementation will contribute to building a skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of the Industry 4.0.
It is expected that the signing of this Memorandum will lead to successful results and initiatives that will contribute to strengthening both the economy and education, all with the goal of fostering smart TVET governance contributing to sustainable economic growth and development.
