Zenica, April 15, 2025 – The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton has signed a cooperation agreement with GOPA Worldwide Consultants to enhance technical and vocational education through a dual education model, combining theoretical instruction with practical training in the workplace.
This collaboration aims to modernize curricula, strengthen the capacity of vocational schools, and better align the education system with labor market needs. The focus is on building a more efficient and relevant vocational education system that increases young people’s employability.
Representatives of the Ministry and GOPA expressed their gratitude to the Government of Switzerland, which provides continuous support for the development of high-quality, modern vocational education in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
The agreement marks an important step towards creating an education system that meets the demands of today’s economy and helps students transition more effectively into the workforce.
