Following the recently signed Agreement on Mutual Cooperation, a working meeting was held on 13 May 2025 at the premises of the Secondary Vocational School “Silvije Strahimir Kranjčević.” The meeting brought together representatives from the Ministry of Science, Education, Culture, and Sport of Canton 10 and the GOPA Worldwide Consultants team.
The purpose of the meeting was to exchange information, ideas, and expert opinions aimed at the development and improvement of the legal framework governing secondary vocational education, ensuring its alignment with the specific needs of Canton 10 as well as with contemporary educational standards.
Representatives of both parties expressed their satisfaction with the established cooperation and emphasized the importance of further strengthening the partnership in order to enhance the quality of secondary vocational education. Particular emphasis was placed on the need to harmonize the legislative framework with the actual demands of the labour market and to ensure education quality that enables young people to achieve better employment prospects and professional development.
The participants agreed on the next steps and the timeline of activities that will contribute to the development of high-quality legal solutions, which will serve as a foundation for the long-term, sustainable development of vocational education in Canton 10.
