Today in Travnik, at the premises of the Government of Central Bosnia Canton, a working meeting was held on the topic: Presentation of the Draft Law on Secondary Vocational Education.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the business community of Central Bosnia Canton, the Ministry of Education, Science, Youth, Culture and Sports of CBC, as well as a team of experts from the Project for Strengthening Secondary Vocational Education in BiH.
During the meeting, the draft law was presented in its entirety, with particular emphasis on aligning educational policy with labor market needs. Key legal provisions were discussed, along with their practical implications for the economy and opportunities for strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and the business sector.
The draft law is the result of joint efforts by the Ministry of Education, Science, Youth, Culture and Sports of the Canton and the expert group from the Project for Strengthening Secondary Vocational Education in BiH. It forms part of a broader process of reform activities in the field of secondary vocational education.
The next step is to refer the draft law to parliamentary procedure.
