After the first two days of the workshop, the third day was dedicated to reflection and planning the next steps. Nermin Oruč and Ilma Kurtović from CREDI – the Center for Development Evaluation and Social Research – presented the data collection instrument, the VET Barometer, which enables a systematic and structured approach to data collection and analysis, as well as evidence-based policy making. This tool will enable school management, as well as relevant educational institutions, to plan development measures and activities, monitor their implementation, and gain insight into the results of these measures.
The workshop concluded in a constructive atmosphere, with participants leaving with a clear plan of steps that schools can take to improve their quality assurance systems and strengthen their capacities for continuous self-evaluation.
This activity is being implemented as part of the project “Strengthening the Technical and Vocational Education and Training System in BiH,” funded by the Government of Switzerland through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and implemented by GOPA Worldwide Consultants through its office in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
