The third workshop dedicated to improving quality in secondary vocational education, in line with the European EQAVET framework, commenced in Visoko. The workshop, held from 21 to 23 January at Hotel Vema, brought together representatives of nominated secondary vocational schools from across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The workshop was officially opened by Ms. Efka Heder, Team leader of the project “Strengthening the System of Secondary Vocational Education and Training in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, who emphasized the importance of continuous efforts to improve educational quality, as well as strong cooperation among all stakeholders involved in secondary vocational education. Eldin Sarajlić, Component coordinator for Education, presented the outcomes of previous workshops, after which participants were introduced to the objectives and structure of the current workshop.

During the following days, participants, together with quality assurance mentors Ivona Čelebičić and Nedžada Faginović, reviewed the results of tasks completed in earlier workshops. School representatives presented their action plans for the implementation of self-evaluation, focusing on the roles of quality assurance team members in data collection and analysis for the defined priority areas subject to self-evaluation. Through presentations and discussions, the mentors encouraged participants to exchange experiences and openly discuss challenges encountered in the implementation of the EQAVET framework. Particular emphasis was placed on the practical application of acquired knowledge and joint efforts to further strengthen quality assurance processes.

This activity is implemented within the project “Strengthening the System of Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, funded by the Government of Switzerland through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by GOPA Worldwide Consultants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
