Orašje, March 31, 2026 – Today, a working meeting was held at the premises of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Posavina Canton, attended by Minister Ana Andrić with her associates, as well as representatives of the project “Strengthening the System of Technical and Vocational Education and Training in BiH” led by team leader Efka Heder.
The main topics of the meeting were:
- Improvement of secondary vocational education (TVET) in accordance with the specific needs of Posavina Canton
- Connecting the education and business communities to strengthen students’ practical skills through work-based learning
The participants praised the cooperation with the schools in this canton, which actively take part in quality assurance activities through the implementation of the European Quality Assurance Framework (EQAVET), emphasizing the importance of their role in strengthening the quality of education and ensuring better management of vocational education.
The meeting confirmed the position of all present that, through partnership between the education and business sectors and with the technical support of the project, a higher quality vocational education system can be ensured, providing young people with better opportunities for employment and professional development.
