The project team, consisting of the Team Leader of the project “Strengthening the Technical and Vocational Education and Training System in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Ms. Efka Heder, and the key expert for public-private dialogue, Mr. Amir Sarajlić, visited the TVET School in Tomislavgrad, where they were hosted by the school principal, Mr. Miroslav Živković, and his associates.

During the visit, a tour of the school was organized along with discussions with staff, after which a meeting was held dedicated to key topics in the field of vocational education and training in Canton 10.

The discussions focused on the challenges the school faces in its daily operations, cooperation with the business community, the organization of work-based learning, quality assurance, as well as the regulatory framework governing the field of vocational education and training. The visit provided an opportunity for an open exchange of experiences, an assessment of the needs of schools in the field, and discussions on possibilities for further improving cooperation between the education sector and the business community.

We extend our gratitude to the principal and staff of the Secondary Vocational School in Tomislavgrad for their warm welcome, time dedicated to the visit, and constructive discussion.
