Today, at Hotel Monti on Igman, the third meeting of the Working Group for the development of the Digital Platform for Work-Based Learning (WBL) / Practical Training (PN) is taking place, marking an important phase of practical testing in the Platform’s development.
Following joint work so far on defining the concept, users, roles, and key functionalities, members of the Working Group are being presented with the beta version of the Digital Platform.
The first part of the meeting provides a brief retrospective of the development process to date, as well as concrete benefits the Platform can offer to schools, businesses, relevant institutions, chambers, students, and parents.
A special focus of the meeting is on interactive testing of the Platform. Divided according to different user roles, members of the Working Group are simulating its use through practical scenarios – from expressing interest by businesses and responses from schools, to connecting participants, and recording and monitoring relevant data on the implementation of WBL/PN.
This approach allows the Platform to be viewed from the perspective of its future users, to identify necessary adjustments and opportunities for improvement, and to define priorities for its finalization and the next stage of development.
The Digital Platform is being developed as a tool that provides digital support, enables more efficient information exchange, and improves transparency in the WBL/PN process, while decision-making, oversight, and verification procedures remain within the legally defined responsibilities of the competent institutions.
The shared goal remains the creation of a practical and sustainable digital solution that will strengthen cooperation between education and business and contribute to better organization of work-based learning and practical training in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
